Description and Requirements

We’re looking for a looking for an enthusiastic sales professional to join our Corporate Reseller Team in our office in Essen or Stuttgart. Teaming with the Corporate Reseller Account Manager you will be responsible for the strategic and operative sales activities for a defined set of our well-known system vendors focusing on our whole product portfolio in data center and PCs.


Your responsibilities:

  • Taking care of an assigned set of corporate reseller partners and working closely together with them to drive successful Lenovo business mainly via phone/E-Mail and Web-conferencing. 
  • Drive targeted marketing activities together with your team and the resellers to increase the sales and achieve the targets set.
  • Weekly status reporting, forecasting and business planning vs. target
  • Creating metric driven plans to grow Lenovo share within resellers
  • Act as focal point for the your inside sales colleagues regarding data center opportunities. You'll build up the knowledge and expertise to guide your peers where deeper insights in data center sales will be needed. This includes a very close collaboration with the Technical Sales Team, but also specific sales cycle and process knowledge. 
  • Assist the Channel Partner with configurations and quotations for enterprise sales, as well as provide proactive follow-up, product information and overall support mainly via the telephone/E-Mail.
  • By managing and maintaining account relationships through various level engagements you are responsible for the overall satisfaction of the assigned corporate resellers.

You will be working very closely with various teams within Lenovo such as Enterprise Sales teams, (Technical) Sales Specialists, 4P- and Business Mgmt as well as Marketing.

To be successful in this role, you can count on the following skills and experiences:

  • University/Higher Education (BA) Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent
  • Ideally successful B2B commercial experience (2-3 years) in an inside sales role.
  • Channel, Distribution and/or Direct Sales competences and experience
  • Experience in Technology sector (preferred; PC/IT hardware, services)
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Excellent presentation and digital communication skills
