Skills requirements

  • Understands the basics of data Center Group Products (compute & storage)
  • Previous experience in sales team with emphasis on meeting numeric targets
  • Working as Inside Sales – leading the sales effort in specific markets & segments. Leading such sales efforts in individual capacity or in conjunction with country channels team.
  • Track record with demonstrated strong leadership and collaborative skills to work with a team of Sales & Channel managers in the countries to implement the Infrastructure Solutions Group strategy.
  • Ability to manage complexities and differences across countries in the region.
  • Experienced in sales management and has understanding of channel management. Prior hands-on Channel experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to lead and work with product, channels and marketing team to meet business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to effect change to meet the changing requirements of the business environment
  • Strong Team Player with focus on operations at a central level that impacts team performance.
  • Holding cadences with countries to ensure timely execution of region initiatives, tools deployment & adoption, maintain process integrity.
  • Proven ability to prepare business cases and deliver executive presentations, analysing data points and making executable business inferences.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering on the financial goals for defined business segments in the Central Asia Pacific region.
  • Maintains a calendar of activities and management system to plan for every quarter, month & week with country channel sales teams at a region level.
  • Prepare and represent region in weekly Sales Cadence calls on progress, target attainment, activity progress, help needed etc for the region
  • Holds weekly Sales Cadence calls with region product leaders, segment leaders and country channel leaders to review progress, target attainment, activity progression, help needed etc
  • Execute the Inside Sales Manager roles for defined markets/segments
    • Communicating with customers/channel partners, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
    • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
    • Answering potential customers' questions and following up with additional information as needed.
    • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
    • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
    • Staying informed about competing products and services.
    • Upselling products and services.
    • Researching and qualifying new leads.
    • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Works with Country Channel Teams to execute
    • Programs and Activities for pipeline generation
    • Regular review of performance on partner tiers
    • Initiative and activities to drive cross segment revenue in the server/storage/software defined infrastructure space.
