Description and Requirements

Would you like to become part of a team that is able to increase Lenovo’s global sales opportunities? Then we are looking for you!

The Worldwide Sales Learning & Enablement team creates training programs for this purpose - specifically in the areas of server, storage, and solutions. The Instructional Designer will be a key member to help us achieve our goals.

Typical tasks will include:

* Leading the design, development, delivery and assessment of training programs, solutions and learning offerings
* Leveraging blended delivery approaches as well as rapid content development tools & processes
* Partnering with colleagues, internal resources and third-party vendors to help you achieve your goals
* Global collaboration with the marketing, brand & sales teams in order to understand Lenovo’s data center products and related sales strategies
* Application of best practices, principles and processes of Instructional Design
* Participation and contribution in geo-specific needs analysis and performance consulting
* Project managing training activities
* Reporting the impact of the training intervention to the various stakeholders

This job is definitely for you if you have:

* 3+ years of corporate training experience, preferably in the design, development and delivery of sales trainings
* Experience working within sales training teams
* Technology industry knowledge
* Ability to apply adult learning and instructional design theory and principles
* Experience with various e-learning development applications (Storyline, Rise, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.) and multimedia-based delivery strategies (eLearning, virtual classroom, videos, simulations, etc.)
* Visual design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and ability to storyboard
* Ability to work with a range of stakeholders including sales executives, subject matter experts, multimedia developers, as well as other instructional designers
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong presentation skills
