Description and Requirements

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Key Account Manager for our Accounts in Austria West / Southwest (Vorarlberg, Tirol, Salzburg, Kärnten). You will work collaboratively with the Inside Account Manager to manage all presales activities for a given set of accounts.

This position proactively works with the most senior decision makers at our clients and internal stakeholders to provide support of sales opportunities and ensures the appropriate portfolio of Lenovo products, services and software is architected to solve our client’s most complex business problems. You will act as the opportunity owner and the relationship manager both externally (customer) and internally. You will be mapping the client strategy to the Lenovo portfolio as well as business insights and will be integrated in the Enterprise Sales team, reporting to our Enterprise Sales Manager DACH.

Your Key Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Use your business acumen and ability to link customer needs and business issues to solutions. Understand emerging technologies and products and Lenovo's strategies to address them 
  • Set and manage expectations around solutions, internally and externally 
  • Collaborate with customers, sales team and extended Lenovo teams 
  • Manage the total customer relationship; responsible for revenue, wallet share, customer satisfaction and driving growth in assigned accounts 
  • Maintain executive relationships 
  • Lead account planning and opportunity identification
  • Identify complex problems; work with other functions and/or team members to generate & coordinate solutions 
  • Define problems, diagnose causes, identify solutions and create action plans 
  • Collaborate with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements 
  • Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis 
  • Work at all levels within an organisation to deliver a quarterly target  Report on sales activity and update in Dynamics 365 
  • Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity 

 Position Requirements:  

  • 5+ years sales experience in the IT market with a proven track record of success and a focus on workplace solutions
  • Broad existing business network (partner / end customer) which will be relevant for efficient ramp up
  • High proficiency in executive level verbal and written communication in English and German
  • Ability to contact, qualify, develop and close leads face to face and virtually 
  • Entrepreneurial personality, customer focused, and able to deliver exceptional solutions well beyond customer expectations 
  • Systematic, persistent and efficient when managing both time and accounts   
  • Negotiation and closing skills  Able to align people and influence decision making, effectively working in a matrix 
  • Collaborative working style and high commitment to get the job done 

The position will be home-office based. Preferably, candidates should live in the area of Salzburg to be able to visit customers as well in Tirol, Vorarlberg, Salzburg and Kärnten.
