Description and Requirements

Responsible for LAS Planning and Order Management operations including parts planning for NPI, REG, EOL, Repair parts planning, In warranty parts consumption forecast, backlog management & inventory control. Will act as focal for  PAL escalations, Interlock with WWHUB team for Back Orders and          Stockouts as well as key point of contact for LAS Service Delivery team escalations for Commercial and Consumer products by leading a team of 3 direct reports.

Key responsibilities include assure parts availability for LAS countries and healthy inventory levels looking for different options to optimize planning logic and supply alternatives, inventory levels as well as cost reduction initiatives such as harvesting, full swap, local purchases and component level repair. Support parts service area, demand projections and critical consumption orders.

Detailed Role Description:

Lead a team responsible for LAS Parts planning for Onshore and Offshore countries, PAL Analysis, backlog and stockouts analysis and corrective actions, E&O analysis and disposal, LAS focal for OMS, Local SCRAP process, Local broker sales process, Inventory Write-Off, OMB, HV process overview, MBG/Monitors Planning. Responsible to oversee weekly planning for each LAS country (LBT and TBG), Prepare and send weekly reports to measure main operational KPIs  and report progress and define improvement actions, Forecast services parts volume according to  historical consumptions, Define and apply stocking policy for each country, Define spare parts purchases to meet and maintain stocking policy.

Understand and support services consumption orders processes and fulfillment, Manage inventory levels, Work on improvement projects, Availability to have calls with NA and China teams, Knowledge in SAP – Excel – Powerpoint and Experience in manage high volume of PNs or SKUs.

This position has different ways of interaction between all Services areas and Lenovo regional areas: LenCare, Service delivery, Upsell, Inbound, WW team, sales team. Externally, has to be in contact with vendors and suppliers for services like Harvesting, logistics, CLR, and suppliers of spare parts in the OMB. Specific interpersonal skill: Excellent communication, leadership and problem and issues solving to define and seek for solutions.
