Description and Requirements

This is an experienced Credit Manager that understands the assessment of credit risk in a Leasing or other subscription-based ‘As a Service’ business. The person has an eye for detail and a desire to support the business and the sales process in advice and assessment on the credit risk of customers in the context of Lenovo’s credit risk framework.

The LGFS Credit Manager’s primary responsibilities are:
- Overall credit risk and bad debt control for the LGFS business.
- Conduct a thorough creditworthiness assessment on credit customers, especially future cash flow and default risk.
- Make credit decisions and credit solution recommendations including credit limit amount, credit rating, payment term, risk mitigation methods etc.
- In charge of collateral management and credit insurance management to minimize risk exposure.
- Regular review on the credit facility, risk exposure and keep optimizing risk portfolio.
- Build relationships with corresponding internal teams globally, involve in early-stage business discussion and obtain information related to customers, projects, and risk points.
- Communication and negotiation with external partners like insurers and credit agencies as required
- Provide to LGFS management regular insight on macro economies, sovereign risks, industry trends, deliver risk alerts where necessary.
- Assist in Lenovo's credit policies and methodology improvement.
-Work on bad debt control and recovery, keep bad debt % < 0.05% of gross billing.
- Maintain insurance and collateral coverage, keep unsecured AR % < 5% of total AR.
- Prompt response to daily credit blocked orders and make credit decisions within 48 hours for 95% of the credit applications after submission.
- Monthly credit planning to prepare sufficient credit facility as well as alert business team on credit limit gap.
- Monthly review with CFO on credit issues and risky accounts.
- Due diligence in credit risk evaluation on all cases.

- Detail-oriented with a solid knowledge of financial analysis.
- Strong ability in communication and handling pressure in negotiation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
- Self-motivated and teamwork spirit.

Key Functional Skills:

Education/ Qualification:
• Master's degree in Finance and Accounting related area.

Work Experience:
Over 5 years credit risk management working experience, preferably in the leasing industry
