◇Position Description◇


The key responsibility of this role is to engage with the distributors, potential clients, partners, mobile NW operators to maximize corporate sales in Japan market. This role is also responsible of relationship building, business negotiations, product / service presentations, and profit management in B2B businesses. 

The role will be trained to promote/offer Motorola devices, device solutions, and/or server solutions that will be bundled with the devices. 

In the design-win phase, this role is responsible of initiating business discussions with the point of contacts from relevant groups in:

・Retail distributors

・Corporate clients

・Solution Partners (System Integrators)

・Mobile NW Operators

The role is responsible of understanding the business requirements of relevant players, communicating with relevant leaders within the company, and ensuring the proposals are meeting the customers’ expectations. Extensive skills on account management, pre-sales, tender management, sales presentation, global communication skill in English is essential.

After the design-win, the role is responsible of maximizing the business. Relationship building with the various players, especially with mobile NW operators will be crucial for this role. 

The candidate is expected to develop and execute B2B design-win and sales strategies by: 

・Understanding the corporate business requirements in Japan and develop the strategy based on it.

・Build relationships with potential business partners. 

・Work closely with the country GM, retail sales manager, MNO account manager, and global teams to deploy the plan. 

・Articulating Lenovo principles and promote Moto products and experiences

・Presenting technology roadmaps to key accounts with the support from the global team.



Experiences in B2B businesses is essential. Networks in MNO corporate sales group is strongly preferred. Experiences in mobile or IT industry, especially in other smartphone OEMs, and business background is strongly preferred. Experiences in pre-sales activities, high touch sales, and tender creation. Presentation and communication skills. Technical knowledge around mobile device development is preferred. 

English communication skill is a must. Experiences in working in global companies and start-up environment is preferred.

Minimum 3 years Industry experience in B2B sales or business development. 


Demonstrates wide latitude for decisive action which could impact business initiatives/programs; exercises independent judgment within broadly defined practices/ policies in selecting approach and technique
