Description and Requirements

PURPOSE

Lenovo is seeking an experienced Marketing Activation Manager to support the International Sales Organization. This individual will oversee global marketing initiatives aimed at driving growth and accelerating Lenovo’s transformation.

In this role, you will be responsible for partnering directly with business and marketing leaders to translate business strategy into integrated marketing programs. Collaborating with the International Sales Organization (ISO) and other global marketing stakeholders, you will design and develop programs that strengthen the positioning of our competitive advantages, frame our value proposition to customers and partners across segments, unite strategic efforts on key growth initiatives, and drive global activation with consistency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with ISO leadership and WW marketing stakeholders to understand business strategies, objectives, and priorities
  • Oversee global marketing activation for strategic programs to increase customer engagement and drive consideration and demand for Lenovo solutions
  • Develop a clear messaging framework which aligns the business and marketing opportunity with points of competitive strength across BUs
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure a connected customer journey and cohesive experience
  • Coordinate global and local activation plans to ensure alignment to meet business and marketing goals
  • Be an ambassador for the Lenovo brand and voice; develop guidelines and brief supporting teams and partner agencies on audience personas, value proposition, and messaging frameworks
  • Stay current on customer, industry, and competitive trends to identify opportunities and anticipate consumer needs
  • Establish KPIs to define the effectiveness and impact of marketing investments in alignment with the Insights COE measurement strategy; track and optimize campaign performance
  • Manage the program budgets and associated operational activities

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in Marketing or relevant field
  • 8-10 years of advertising marketing experience
  • Experience managing global sponsorship marketing activation
  • Experience building integrated marketing campaigns and programs that drive business results
  • Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail
  • Effective and persuasive communication skills
  • Proficiency in global communication standards
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capability to determine program effectiveness and impact
  • Ability to work with others in a highly collaborative work environment
