Description and Requirements
Innovation is at the heart of Motorola, but it doesn’t stop with our Smartphones, it is in everything that we do. And we are currently looking for a Marketing Lead for the Business Unit to coordinate and execute our activities in DACH region. In this position, you will report to our General Manager Motorola DACH region and help the brand visibility and success in the region.
You will be working alongside the sales teams and leading the in-country marketing representative and your responsibilities include to:
- Work independently in a highly dynamic and fast-paced consumer tech environment
- Work with an audience first approach, setting the right strategy across a broad spectrum of marketing disciplines, with particular focus on channel, retail/etail an digital marketing
- Drive marketing agenda in close liaison with the sales teams across a multitude of channel partners
- Ensure seamless integration into overall MOTOROLA DACH marketing strategy and agenda
- Create appealing propositions in close dialogue with channel partners and sales team
- Prepare and execute GTM plans for the region for new product launches, in-life campaigns and end of lifecycle campaigns
- Lead and interface to PR and marketing agencies
- Work alongside and lead the regional marketing teams to plan out events and understand how their work can be implemented into our channels to increase brand awareness and targeted communications
- Liaise with channel marketing teams of our partners to continually optimize customer journey and experience
- Maximize channel marketing output through ROI-led performance management to meet aggressive sales targets
- Oversee the development of toolkits and geo specific assets including print/production management and digital assets
- Ensure internal alignment with our EMEA marketing guidelines as well as alignment of marketing goals with our local sales & channel teams and product
- Explore other marketing opportunities in country to build the brand
- Interface with customers in all related merchandising activities, supporting account managers, working with the trade team including any field teams to maximize our exposure to partner frontline staff.
What Are Your Skills:
- 8+ years of broad Marketing experience, ideally from the mobile industry and/or within the domain of consumer electronics
- Leadership experience is preferred
- Multinational experience is preferred
- Fluency in English and German
