In this role, you will guide and oversee the management of media campaigns from brief to execution for Lenovo, at an EMEA level with a focus on France. You will execute the agreed strategies through various media channels, working closely with internal and external specialists and pressing for better, more effective campaigns. You will report to our Director, EMEA Media COE. You will also collaborate closely with our other Strategic Media Planners based in the UK and the other Media Center of Excellence Team members within Lenovo EMEA Marketing.
The role will have a particular focus on France, working closely with the local marketing teams, and we would like someone with fluent French and English and a strong knowledge of the France media market. The role will also involve responsibilities for planning in other EMEA markets and on campaigns across markets, so some knowledge and experience of planning on cross-market campaigns or in other markets would be preferred.
What is waiting for you in this role?
- Coordinate with various parties to drive the best quality campaigns and draw on multiple inputs, including reporting, expert opinion, media owner and internal stakeholder recommendations.
- Support the Media Strategy Lead in developing integrated cross-channel strategies for the Lenovo brand and sub-brands.
- Ensure consistent communication during the planning period and ensure the internal teams have visibility of each step within the process. Be the first point of contact for media plan questions within Lenovo.
- Responsible for media and consumer insights collation, providing integrated brief response proposals.
- Collaborate closely with multiple marketing channel specialists to ensure optimal use of each marketing channel
What do we expect from you?
- Five years of experience in Media Planning or a cross-channel delivery role, at the account director level or higher. Specific knowledge/experience of France media marketplace.
- Fluent in French (mandatory), and English, good enough to work in an English-speaking organisation.
- Understanding of different marketing capabilities and what they offer the client and customer, including Search Marketing, Analytics, Display, Social etc.
- Ability to manage various stakeholders on long-term projects, and maintain good communication with multiple parties
- Understanding of multi-channel marketing, ensuring digital is fully embedded in all initiatives
- Specific knowledge of business-to-business campaigns would be a significant benefit. Lenovo runs many B2B campaigns targeting IT professionals and broader business audiences, including lead-generation activity and account-based marketing.
