About Our Team

Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is currently seeking Memory Engineers who can work with Lenovo’s HW and SW design and validation team. The selected candidate will leverage a technical competency, creativity, and a "drive for results" attitude to construct innovative value for our customers. 


What You'll Do

  • Define, design, and provide design guidance for memory within Cloud Service Provider (CSP) segment servers
  • Be responsible for CSP Server Memory long term technology roadmap
  • Provide new Memory whole spec, performance and RAS evaluation for new project 
  • Be responsible for Memory issue troubleshooting and  issue failure analysis

Basic Qualifications
  • Must have 5 years or more work experience in memory area
  • Familiar with RDIMM density/package process and technology trend and understanding of key design concepts, including RAS of Memory
  • Deep understanding RDIMM performance/power design and experience
  • Basic capability to ECC and UECC debug for Memory
  • The experience of memory qualifications test plan in server or datacenter systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering 
  • HyperScale/Cloud customer support working experience 
  • The experience of memory PPR design or tool building 
  • Understanding the storage data path from file system, to storage device is a plus Understand Hyperscale data center environment and big data center infrastructure 
  • Cross discipline understanding of engineering such as management software 
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to work effectively cross-culturally across teams in the US and Asia
