Description and Requirements

The Manager of the Mid Market team leads a sales force of approximately 9 people who are based either in both our offices near Amsterdam and in our offices near Brussels. The role can be filled in either Belgium or Netherlands. 

Working closely with the EMEA director of Mid-Market, the Benelux Country GM and the Benelux Enterprise, Public sector, and SMB sales teams, the Mid Market leader will be responsible for: 
  • Defining, agreeing and executing the Mid-Market business plan 
  • Agreeing account ownership
  • Achieving Revenue, Profit, Market share and other financial targets 

This job role includes: 
  • Developing and leading the implementation of sales strategy including offers, scripting, campaign timing, process changes, etc. 
  • Managing and developing the teams to meet the organization's expectations for calls, pipeline, customer accuracy, sales results, productivity, quality and reporting. 
  • Daily monitor of results and prepare weekly and monthly analysis reports. 
  • Providing input to improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, output and customer experience. 
  • Proactively drive the execution of marketing campaigns. 
  • Acquiring new key projects and provide guidance to the sales representatives. 
  • Owning critical customer situations and drive the identification of a solution. 
  • Owning the hiring and development and coaching of employees in the team. 
  • Account responsibility for selected customers. 
  • Collaborate with other internal teams/functions to exceed Mid-market business plan (especially Channel, product management). 
  • Prepare business decisions by providing all necessary data like financials and business justifications. 
Organisation:
  • Reporting to EMEA Mid-Market Director.
Position Requirements: 
  • BA/BS degree or relevant professional training. 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales manager role. 
  • Proven track record of sales experience, ideally combined with strong working knowledge of outbound Telesales strategies/practices. 
  • Profound knowledge of account management and sales strategies, ideally in an outbound environment. 
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and databases. 
  • Strong presentation skills and financial/analytical skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in Dutch and English, (French would be an ideal addition). 
  • High comfort-level working in a global, diverse environment.
