Description and Requirements

This position is part of the Global eCommerce User Experience (UX) Team. We are currently seeking a Mobile User Experience Project Manager experienced in delivering an outstanding mobile eCommerce experience to mobile users on lenovo.com. This position will be responsible for staying current on mobile trends and providing guidance and support to the worldwide organization on mobile e-commerce trends and best practices. They will manage the identification, conception, definition, design, testing and implementation of mobile UX projects with the goal of improving the customer experience, online engagement and purchase conversion.

Job responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the mobile product owner and mobile designer to define how the overall mobile strategy should impact the mobile user experience in lenovo.com
  • Identify and define mobile user experience improvements leveraging input from customer feedback, onsite analytics, geography/business stakeholders and executives
  • Create a prioritized roadmap of mobile user experience projects based on business value and contribution to customer satisfaction metrics
  • Liaise with the eCommerce performance team on optimizing the load times on the mobile experience
  • Assist other project managers by providing mobile expertise
  • Determine how merchandising should be applied in a mobile experience to optimize sales conversion in the eCommerce geographies and share mobile best practices
  • Own BMS for reviewing mobile customer comments and resulting action resolution
  • Manage mobile project lifecycle, deliverables and cross-functional business management system (BMS) including: 
    • Project definition:
      • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, research best practices, and perform competitive analysis to define the project scope
      • Assign roles & responsibilities and create a timeline and schedule for all activities tied to the project
    • Project design/implementation:
      • Work closely with designers to create and iterate on designs
      • Work with UX researchers to develop usability tests
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to get feedback and approval
      • Manage the IT requirements development and approval process to get projects in the development queue
      • Work with extended teams to perform quality assurance testing and push projects live
      • Optimization: collaborate with the global optimization team to determine priorities, track roadmap and implement A/B testing for UX projects
    • Ongoing communication/BMS: Drive regular interlocks with cross-functional geography, business unit team members and executives to communicate progress on UX priorities and share best practices

Qualifications:
Required 

  • At least 4+ years of previous experience in mobile eCommerce work. Prefer experience working on large eCommerce websites.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred


Preferred 

  • Project Management
    • Strong project management and organizational skills to manage many projects with different deadlines
    • Experience with the agile methodology and with key agile tools like JIRA
    • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams including development, design, research and analytics
    • Ability to write functional requirements to IT and manage the lifecycle of those requirements
    • An understanding of web development process to understand complexities and timelines
    • Ability to easily conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
    • Strong self-initiative with the ability to identify areas of improvement with little direction
    • Fine attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate end-results
    • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment where innovation is expected
  • Ecommerce/UX experience
    • Understanding of effective web design, eCommerce and key UX principles
    • Familiarity with A/B testing, understanding metrics and design thinking
  • Communication
    • Excellent communication skills are crucial since this position will work with multiple cross-functional teams
    • Comfortable with communicating/advocating for projects with executives
    • Possess a positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative and energetic team environment
    • Ability to drive adherence to deadlines with many different teams
    • Experienced in presenting to executives and groups
    • Experience persuading stakeholders with metrics and research
    • Comfortable with multi-national teamwork, participating in calls in many time zones (often at night)
