Description and Requirements

Position:Marketing Manager, MBG Japan

Job Objective:This role would be responsible for developing marketing plans and activities for smartphone product lines for Japan market

Role Description

Key Responsibilities

  • End to End Marketing Campaign Planning for Japan smartphone products
  • Driving consumer demand / sell-out for Motorola products in Japan
  • Media planning, execution and optimization for all product line on all relevant channels
  • Develop and execute media plans
  • Maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels, measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals
  • Develop and monitor campaign budgets
  • Management and coordination with all relevant internal (Finance, SCM, eCom, Product - India and global) and external stakeholders (Media agency, creative agency, PR agency, ecommerce partner)
  • Drive and deliver on brand and marketing funnel metrics that enable and results in final sales metrics
  • Drive, Track, Monitor and report consumer insights through consumer research, consumer reviews/comments (Social and eCommerce) and Sentiment (Social)
  • Adapt global creative assets for local consumption or develop local communication for specific use cases.
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners to ensure brand deliverables

Skills Required

  • 10+ years of marketing experience for smartphones or consumer electronic products (Full time MBA degree is preferred)
  • Very strong experience of media planning and marketing communication – digital. ATL experience would be good to have
  • Strong experience of working with eCommerce marketplaces and retail
  • Experience of product marketing a strong advantage
  • Strong communication skills including proficiency in English
  • Experience working with a team and delivering results in a fast-paced setting
