Description and Requirements

The North America Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) Services Sales Director will lead Professional and Maintenance Services Sales, responsible for $100M in Revenue annually. In this role you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a national sales team of Regional Sales reps. These sales professionals are responsible for acquiring new Lenovo services and pursuing maintenance agreements.

This leader will be responsible for developing and executing on an aggressive customer retention, development. and acquisition strategy in both the US and Canadian markets.  The successful leader will demonstrate an ability to align new services solution offerings to the business and needs of the NA market. The leader will implement and drive our field sales strategy for selling Lenovo infrastructure services portfolio. We are looking for an exceptional leader and coach, with strong sales skills and a proven track-record in driving deal progression and closing business.  Driving team performance is a key responsibility of this role. The successful candidate will have proven ability to maximize team performance using a structured business management system to run a high performance sales organization. 

Responsibilities for the NA Services Sales Director include: 
  • Manage the pipeline and bookings forecast 
  • Establish quotas and monitor individual and team performance
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales leaders to drive services initiatives 
  • Engage the broader Lenovo sales force across North America 
  • Coordinate activities with the ED of Channel Sales to engage partners where appropriate 
  • Provide guidance and strategy on individual deal pursuits 
  • Make prospect calls with sales reps to accelerate business 
  • Maintain and build trusted executive level client relationships - Provide leadership for marketing initiatives 
  • Lead strategic sales initiatives 
Candidates may be based in any larger metropolitan city, to include places like New York City, San Francisco, Dallas, Boston, Los Angeles, and Chicago.  

Position Requirements: -
  • 7+ years of managing sales in a Services organization in Data Center/Infrastructure environment
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent experience required
  • Ability to travel 50% travel

Preferred Requirements:
  • Proven track record of successful sales management 
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated team building, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements 
  • Superior customer retention, development, and acquisition skills
  • Proven ability to grow a sales territory 
  • Excellent presentation skills and executive presence 
  • Ability to build a high performing sales team
  • Working knowledge of solution selling and software sales cycles in Mid Market and Enterprise accounts 
  • Experience developing and selling business value proposition in healthcare, higher education, public sector and commercial accounts
