As an OEM Field Account Executive for Lenovo, you’ll be responsible for delivering net new accounts and design wins for the Lenovo OEM Data Center Group. You will have responsibility for growing the total revenue assigned to your territory through the sale of solutions from our Data Center portfolio., focusing specifically on OEM opportunities for server, storage, services, and networking. From these sales you will drive revenue and profit to position the Lenovo OEM business for continued growth and success. You will champion the innovative power of our products to make our customers more productive, collaborative, and transformative. You will understand Lenovo’s portfolio of award-winning products and services while developing strategies to help new and existing customers find and implement the best solutions. This is a client facing acquisition-focused sales role requiring deep industry experience, the ability to identify, cultivate and close net new business, and expertise working large deals at the Product VP and C-level. Description
- Building partnerships with existing, current, and new OEM customers by coordinating the efforts of sales, opportunity management, marketing and pre and post sales technical support to maximize revenue and margin for Lenovo OEM products.
- Builds and execute strategic sales plans for OEM product adoption by prospective Lenovo OEM customers.
- Owns ongoing analysis of pipeline metrics and business performance to produce weekly report for OEM business performance and relevant actions and recommendations.
- Engages marketing team to ensure coverage or OEM products.
- Assess and mitigate risks / issues through effective contingency plans.
- Experience in cold calling is important to identify and pursue new acquisition opportunities.
- Maintains competitor analysis to identify business opportunities, provide insightful and actionable output across products, markets, and competitors – includes product positioning and SWOT analysis.
- Delivers Subject Matter Expert support to sales and Marketing teams, on both technology and products. Provides monthly / quarterly roadmap updates to relevant extended teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10+ years sales experience in the I/T industry (Software and Hardware)
Preferred Requirements:
- Proficient in being able to sell the value of OEM solutions; Understand Lenovo portfolio of products and their practical application/contribution to customers’ requirements
- Business analytical skills
- Project Management skills
- Negotiation and communication skills
- Experience working with channel partners.
