Description and Requirements

The Lenovo OEM Portfolio Team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to bring Lenovo products to market for specific industry use cases.

This person will work directly with internal Lenovo product development, marketing, operations, and finance team members, as well as third party testing facilities and certification agencies to bring products to market that meet specific industry certification requirements, within target time frames and financial targets.   Certifications related to Maritime, Healthcare and Transportation are initial areas of focus.

He or she must have proven product management success in working with multi-national, cross-functional teams, in communicating clear objectives and keeping projects and team members on task. 

He or she will be responsible coordinating regular team meetings, communicating updates and meeting outcomes, and participating in the development of marketing collateral and sales training material.  Once the product has been launched, he or she will help play a vital role in representing the product to sales organizations, customers and at industry events.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of computer hardware and/or software program management experience as well as project management experience, in keeping projects on track.    Additionally, the ideal candidate should have experience in working with at least one of the target industries mentioned above.

He or she should be US-based employee but have the necessary credentials (valid US passport) without restrictions, to travel domestically or internationally when necessary.

Position Requirements:
* 3 - 5+ years of experience in product and/or program management.
* Exemplary leadership skills.
* Strong program management discipline.
* Ability to build new organizational capability and lead cross functional technical team.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills in an autonomous, leadership capacity.
* High degree of creativity in finding new ways to execute and improve effectiveness.
* Spirit of entrepreneurship requiring high-energy, proactivity, and teaming/collaboration.
* Keen understanding of country/region complexities for global implementations.
* Necessary credentials to work within the United States and travel abroad as necessary without restrictions (US Passport.)

Preferred Qualifications:
* PMP certification.
* Maritime, healthcare, and/or defense industry certifications.
* Solid understanding of the personal computer industry, and a basic knowledge or computer hardware, operating systems, and software.
