Description and Requirements

The Lenovo Design Innovation Team is creating a new generation of AI Ambient devices- products that move beyond traditional screens and interact through presence, context, intelligence, and behavior. And we are seeking an operation specialist to work closely with the operation team and management team to ensure impeccable finance and procurement operations that directly supports the core business. 
Job Responsibilities

WW & NA Procurement Operations (40%) 

  • Support DIT North America (NA) procurement activities for DIT, cooperating closely with the NA GP team to continuously improve the DIT NA procurement process. 
  • Execute end-to-end NA procurement payment processes via Ariba and IO, including purchase requests, approvals, goods receipt, and payment follow-up, ensuring compliance with Lenovo policies. 
  • Communicate and collaborate with Worldwide suppliers on business coordination, order execution, issue resolution, and ongoing operational alignment. 
  • Execute procurement-related audit requirements, including documentation preparation, data validation, and timely response to internal and external audit requests. 

 

Financial Operations & Budget Management (60%) 

  • Support DIT overall financial operations, including routine finance tasks and ad-hoc financial actions to ensure smooth day-to-day execution. Ensuring alignment with budget owner expectations and compliance requirements. 
  • Co-work closely with Finance (FA) and Operations teams on overall budget maintenance, including budget tracking, variance monitoring, and financial governance support. 
  • Own and manage DIT Worldwide CAPEX budget, including tracking, reporting, coordination with Finance and Procurement teams, and supporting approval and control processes. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of financial workflows, controls, and operational processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency. 

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field. 
  • 1–3 years of experience in finance operations, procurement operations, shared services, or related roles. 
  • Hands-on experience with procurement or payment processes, including requisition, approval, and settlement flows. 
  • Practical working knowledge of Ariba, IO, or similar procurement and payment systems. 
  • Basic understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and internal compliance standards. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard enterprise systems. 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills, especially across Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams. 
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate ownership, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting global or North America–based procurement and finance operations. 
  • Prior exposure to CAPEX/OPEX management, budget tracking, or audit support activities. 
  • Experience working in a multinational or matrix organization with cross-region stakeholders.
