Description and Requirements

PCSD Strategy Senior Manager • Support overall Lenovo PC and Smart Device Business Planning and Execution globally. • Lead strategic projects in GTM / Portfolio / New Business Development. • Conduct industry / market analysis, including market overview & status update, competitor deep dive, industry new trend analysis. Responsibilities include: • Assess customer, industry, and market trends in the PC & Smart Devices Category Lead development of investment cases for Lenovo strategic initiatives for both technical and long-range strategy initiatives. Examples may include targeting specific business segments, improving revenues with specific lines of business, identifying new business lines, and inorganic/M&A activities, etc. • Develop execution plans for strategic projects and manage transition to business functions or PMO • Participate in annual long range strategic planning process with senior leaders across business groups including peer strategists, CTO, line of business leaders • Determine implication of industry trends and competitor actions on current and long range strategy and business focus • Partner with senior executives and other strategy team members to solve key strategic questions for the organization and work with executives to develop executive presentations and present recommendations and “sell” ideas • Utilize advanced interpersonal skill required for building trust and engagement across geographies and with leaders across the organization. • Manage executive steering committees on strategic topics • Drive BMS for measurement and tracking of operational KPIs Position Requirements: • 5+ years of proven cross-discipline sales / marketing / operations expertise for a global enterprise organization focused on high tech product, software and services • Consulting Experience esp. in Enterprise Strategy Environment • Background in new and emerging technologies; AI, Edge Computing • Comfortable working with international workforce in global setting (evening concalls) • Multi-tasker capable of balancing multiple workloads and adapting to shifting priorities • Passion for researching cutting-edge topics, iterating to improve understanding, and examining business problems from multiple points of view • Strong project management skills that include running complex matrixed initiatives.
