Description and Requirements

Responsibilities

* Define, Design and provide SAS expander/PCIe switch HW and FW solution for storage device products within Storage server and JBOD/JBOF designs.
* Troubleshooting HW and FW issue related with storage devices
* Provide leadership and mentoring, and work well in a collaborative team environment
* Interact with the Engineering Manager, Team Lead, customer, site staff and attending regularly scheduled customer meetings.

Technical Skills

* Familiar with SAS/SCSI/NVMe/SSD/HDD devices.
* Proficiency capturing and debugging with Protocol Analyzers
* Server design experience is a plus
* Proficiency with Windows operating systems is a plus
* Understand Hyperscale data center environment and big data center infrastructure is a plus

Education and Experience

* Must have 10 years or more work experience in development qualification of storage device products
* Undergraduate BSEE or BSCE degree required
* A Master degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering is a plus.
