Description and Requirements

Position Overview

Lead the architecture design, technology innovation, and development of next-generation power products, including GaN chargers, desktop charging solutions, power banks, docking power solutions, and emerging energy products. Drive power technology roadmaps, common platform development, and technical collaboration with ODM/OEM partners to deliver industry-leading solutions for global customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define system architecture and key technology strategies for power products ranging from 65W to 400W+, covering power conversion, fast charging protocols, power allocation, thermal management, EMC/EMI, safety, and reliability.
  • Lead development of chargers, power banks, docking power solutions, and custom enterprise power products, ensuring delivery targets for quality, cost, performance, and schedule.
  • Build and evolve reusable power platforms to improve technology reuse, development efficiency, and portfolio competitiveness.
  • Drive technical engagement with ODM/OEM partners, evaluate technical solutions, manage risks, and resolve complex design and manufacturing challenges.
  • Monitor industry trends, explore emerging technologies, and generate innovations and patents that strengthen Lenovo's competitive advantage.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience in power electronics product development, with proven expertise in chargers, adapters, fast charging technologies, and high-power power systems.
  • Strong knowledge of LLC, ACF, QR Flyback, Active Clamp Flyback, Synchronous Rectification, USB PD3.1 EPR, PPS, and major charging protocols.
  • Solid understanding of thermal design, EMC/EMI, safety compliance, reliability engineering, DFM/DFA, and mass production processes.
  • Experience with GaN power architectures, high-power products (140W+), platform development, and global ODM/OEM collaboration is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, system-level thinking, innovation capability, and strong execution skills.
  • Patent contributions in power electronics is must.
