Description and Requirements

With over 95% of Lenovo’s B2B business moving through the Channel, the role of the Partner Account Manager at Lenovo is extremely important and critical to our success. The role of Lenovo Partner Account Manager is a senior position that requires excellent relationships at all levels both at Lenovo and with the partners including CEO level.

At Lenovo, our Partner Account Managers orchestrate and manage the involvement of the full Lenovo team to ensure that Lenovo is on top of mind with the business partner, that they are satisfied and fully updated on Lenovo strategy and technologies. The main purpose is to grow Lenovo business with the partners and deliver profitable growth for both Lenovo and our partners.


You will report to the One Channel Leader, supporting customers in Poland. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings.

The role and responsibility

  • You will be visible and have a proactive approach in everything you do, you will manage the business plans and quarterly business reviews, you own it and we count on you to deliver.
  • You will be responsible for the sales-out business management including pipeline management, reporting and doing gap analysis.
  • You are a strategic thinker comfortable developing, adapting, and executing a strategic engagement plan for each partner and their overall territory. 
  • You will be educating the partners on the full benefits of the Lenovo portfolio, through key communications and training activities.
  • You understand how technology resellers operationalize their business and you are able to build and maintain relationships with Channel Partners – across all levels of an organization, at executive, management, product manager and sales representative level
  • You will develop strategies to help the Business Partner grow their strategic business initiatives with Lenovo sales, as well as communicate and understand the return on investment and industry trends. 
  • You know how to position HCI / SDI solutions and you have a broad know how over Server, Storage and network technology.
  • Experience in Cloud and Software Sales would be a great plus.
  • You are able to position the Lenovo products and channel value proposition. 
  • You thrive in a dynamic and velocity-driven environment.   
  • Consistent achievement of quarterly sales quota
  • Ability to work with a solution selling sales approach including up-sell and cross-sell products, solutions, options and services.
  • Ensure that Lenovo is top of mind through the successful delivery of training and communications
  • Understanding and in-depth knowledge of products and services, industry trends, and competition.
  • You must be a team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You should be able to identify business opportunities and act on them and bring to fruition.
  • Successfully apply business intelligence and understand how markets and competitors will influence the selling of Lenovo products and services


  • 5+ years’ experience in business development / channel management in the IT industry (storage, data centers, servers)
  • Proven track record in channel sales of solutions not only products 
  • Proven ability to build relationships and to work with key sales teams in BP’s & horizontally in the Lenovo business
  • Commitment & action oriented 
  • Track of record in building and executing business development plans 
  • Extensive experience with channel partners, service providers, or end customer dynamics in a technology environment
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Results driven and team player with Strong Presentation Skills
