Description and Requirements




We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Privacy Operations Specialist to join our Global Privacy Program (to support Europe and META Privacy Operations). In this role, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end coordination and operational management of Data Subject Requests (DSRs) across the organization, and broader privacy operations management support. You will work closely with privacy counsels, data owners, and cross‑functional teams to ensure timely, compliant, and high‑quality responses to individuals exercising their privacy rights.

This is a hands‑on operational role ideal for someone who thrives in structured processes, enjoys cross‑team collaboration, and is motivated by delivering excellence in privacy compliance.



Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of Data Subject Requests (DSRs) in OneTrust, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable privacy laws (e.g., EU GDPR, UK GDPR, etc.).
  • Monitor and track deadlines to ensure all requests are handled within statutory timeframes. Assign and follow up on sub tasks with internal data owners and stakeholders; proactively chase outstanding items to avoid delays.
  • Consolidate and validate DSR responses and data files, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with legal guidance.
  • Collaborate closely with privacy counsels to escalate complex cases, validate legal interpretations, and ensure appropriate handling of sensitive requests.
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for all DSR activities in accordance with internal policies.
  • Support process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and user experience within the DSR workflow.
  • Assist with reporting and metrics, including monthly dashboards and compliance KPIs.
  • Contribute to broader privacy operations, including process documentation, training materials, operational readiness for new regulations, implementation of privacy policies and practices across the organization



What We Are Looking For
:

  • 3+ year of experience working in privacy operations, compliance, data governance, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with OneTrust or similar privacy management platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of the EU GDPR and other global privacy regulations, particularly data subject rights.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive tasks to completion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Compliance, Information Security, or related field.
