Description and Requirements

About Our Team 

This position is for a CSP (Cloud Service Provider) Process Architect in the Bill of Materials Team of the Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG). This is an exciting role in the CSP Development organization that has a strong focus to be the #1 trusted IT Partner in the Data Center. ISG is innovating the future-defined data center, today. From the simplest to the most complex IT environments for all types of workloads, our servers, storage, networking and solutions help maximize the potential of data centers.


Location: Morrisville, NC

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and create E2E process standards within the ISG CSP Team
  • Meet with internal stakeholders to document requirements
  • Ability to create process workflows with validation checkpoints
  • Strong communication skills to deliver clear instructions and influence
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to validate processes before deployment
  • Ability to create prototype programs or scripts to for improving BOM quality and reduce cycle time
  • Build Product CTO BOM and MECH.BOM correctly
  • Create BOM/EC data release plan and track data readiness
  • Resolve BOM/EC issues quickly and accurately
  • Work with internal team to plan part transitions
  • Perform both sustaining and NPI BOM changes
  • Customer communication


Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline
• 5 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications
• Masters degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering is a plus

• Hyperscale/Cloud experience a plus

• Research experience in data science

• Knowledge of server components and parts
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams and have the autonomy to make decisions

• Good documentation and organizational skills

• Ability to quickly learn, question, and collaborate on solving problems
• Ability to work effectively cross-culturally across teams in Mexico, US and Asia
