Description and Requirements

In this role, you will be responsible for responding to carrier RFIs (Request for Information) and ensuring product compliance with technical carrier requirements. Your contributions are crucial for achieving product placement with carriers. You will also be responsible for discovering, identifying, and delivering new software products that enable Motorola to effectively connect with a broader range of carriers and users. Your work will involve interpreting the needs of customers and our channel partners, including operators and distributors, to develop new features and product offerings. Collaboration with various teams, such as product marketing, sales, design, engineering, finance, and others, will be essential to meet these objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to RFIs (Request for Information) from cellular network operators on a wide range of technical and business topics, spanning from cellular technologies (e.g., 4G LTE, 5G NR) to Android OS and ESG requirements.
  • Effectively manage carrier requirements, including the completion of product specification compliance, which is critical for product placement with carriers.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, sales, design, engineering, finance, and other teams to analyze carrier requirements and align them with Motorola's product and platform roadmaps. Identify potential gaps and internal development needs.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and customers, coordinating technical requirements support for customers within the broader Motorola Mobility organization.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in cellular network technologies, including 4G LTE and 5G NR.
  • Familiarity with IMS networks, such as VoLTE, VoWiFi, VoNR.
  • Knowledge of the Android OS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
