Description and Requirements

Lenovo’s Cloud & Software Organization is seeking Software Enablement Manager to be the organizations focal point for enabling solutions on our UDS platform.  The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and collaboration skills, a proven track record with product enablement and creating product solutions, and have an understanding of order fulfillment systems.  The candidate shall also be process orientated, a proactive self-starter, exhibit the ability to work effectively with cross functional worldwide teams, and have a customer first mentality. 

Scope includes:  

·       Execute sales enablement of XaaS offerings, for multiple segments

·       Enablement of UDS offerings, which includes licensing definition, catalog creation, and catalog maintenance

·       Assisting UDS team with business prioritization of licensing requirements for CSW solutions

·       Lead monthly/quarterly interlocks with Product Management team

·       Becoming a Product and Solutions expert as it pertains to product licensing, E2E process and billing of subscription offerings. 

·       Developing a deep understanding of how CSW solutions work together, in order to define the licensing strategy

·       Become the CSW licensing Subject Matter Expert

·       Work closely with SaaS Program Manager, in SSG, in order to achieve the common OneLenovo goal.   

·       Focus on product Customer Experience (CX) by building a repository of resolved customer issues that can be added to the PD (problem determination) trees, as well as communicated back to the product development team.  In addition, the candidate should proactively look for opportunities to implement process improvements that leads to a positive customer sentiment.

·       Serve as the main interface, into BTIT, who will prioritize CSW requirements, track & report status as monthly/quarterly interlocks, and negotiate timelines as necessary.

Basic Requirements

·       5+ years in a Product Management or related role

·       Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, business, or equivalent experience






Preferred Requirements


·       Must be able to understand complex business systems and distill what changes are necessary on our UDS platform.

·       Basic understanding of order fulfillment systems

·       Proven product enablement experience

·       Experience in creating product solutions and structures

·       3rd party vendor experience (i.e. 3rd party integration, contract requirements, royalty payments, special bids process, and overall best practices of integrating a 3rd party into a CSW offering)

·       Microsoft Office suite

·       Problem Solving: Must have the ability to quickly analyze complex problems, then create and implement solutions.

·       Strong communicator: English speaking; excellent written and oral skills are a must, as the individual must have the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of staff, management, and customers.

·       Customer Centric Mindset: Must have a “customer first” mentality to ensure an exceptional Customer Experience, in support of our organizations overall satisfaction (OSAT) KPIs.

·       Independent and proactive thinker who can manage their own workload

·       Ability to work effectively with wide range of individuals across a diverse and global community

·       Leadership & Collaboration: Utilize expertise to guide and influence people outside department/function to a common goal; work as a SME manage multiple project simultaneously; well organized & detail oriented

Bachelor’s degree in a computer or business discipline preferred.
