As a relationship account manager, you will be driving new business development and providing exceptional customer service. You will be part of the end-user Relationship sales team that is responsible for the Commercial & Public Sectors in Southern Africa.

This role forms part of a dynamic team driven by the highest discipline for success. It will also allow you to bring your entrepreneurial abilities with the flexibility and agility to empower decision making and influencing in execution of all responsibilities.


These are your detailed responsibilities:

• Manage the total customer relationship for Enterprise Accounts; responsible for revenue, wallet share, customer satisfaction and driving growth in assigned accounts.

• Maintain and cultivate senior executive relationships.

• Lead account planning and opportunity identification; conduct opportunity prioritization and develop overall account plans for assigned accounts.

• Plan, facilitate and/or conduct complex negotiations for assigned accounts.

• Conduct deep analysis in identifying complex problems; generate and coordinate solutions with other functions or team members to solve complex problems.

• Achieve set sales targets including value, volume, profitability and development of new customers.

• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts and unit sales to be made.

 

Organization

You will report to the Relationship Sales Leader for Southern Africa supporting customers in Gauteng and other defined provinces. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings.

What you’ll bring/ Position Requirements:

• Mandatory to have proven track record in managing relationships and converting leads into sustainable sales in the Commercial IT sector for at least 5-6 years.

• Demonstrate expertise in building and maintaining customer and partner relationships.

• Ability to work in a diverse environment, with both internal and external diverse customers. Collaboration with the entire virtual team.

• Computer literacy in MS Office suite, with MSD or any other CRM being an added advantage.
