Description and Requirements
This is a junior role for a candidate in a very large, Global transformation organization driving Lenovo Group ecommerce and Sales and Marketing strategy into execution planning to transform business processes. Opportunity to grow, working at the direction of more experienced and senior leads, responsible for transformation requirements from Corporate and multiple Geographic business units; advising, developing, planning, implementing and technical direction for pricing function and data structures and sales process areas within a major application development project. Will function as a process leader for some areas and support for other areas responsible for data gathering, analysis, identification and solution of business transformation process improvements, solution testing, user training, and problem management.
Responsibilities:
1. Guides and assists in conducting major reviews, problem analysis, and development of solutions to assigned application / process development projects as well as schedules and cost objectives.
2. Recommends proper technology and procedures to be utilized in the conduct of this effort. Plan, develop and prepare presentations of various proposals, systems solutions, objectives, organization, scheduling of assigned projects.
3. Evaluate use of available IT products / platforms; suggest plans for improvement, better utilization, standards of reliability and performance of assigned segment of the solution.
4. Assist with ongoing data reporting /dashboarding solutions as the end data solution is being established so the business can maintain/grow with a focus on CRM Functions.
5. Assist with plan, and development of appropriate education of processes for customers and company personnel. Assist in teaching teachers the use and implementation of application processes within the area of process responsibility.
Basic Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated business process analyst with overall scope in the internet sales and CRM software solutions, Cloud-based Business Suite solutions, and Microsoft Office tools. This is a global position with generalist sales process and tools focus for all of Lenovo’s product offerings and associated business processes while also working with other dependent areas to ensure a full end-to-end solution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with mapping business requirements, translating to IT/Organizational Process changes, system testing and end user training and Organizational Change Management impact assessment is a plus.
- Experience in application release processes of ASAP or Agile methodologies is preferred, but can also be learned.
- Familiarity with industry best-practice data management is preferred.
- Good foundational communication skills, strong leadership skills, good organizational skills, and strong project management skills are expected for this Global position.
- The ability to take direction from leads and others on the team and the ability to work in a matrixed-team environment is mandatory.
