- Develop and maintain privacy documentation including cookie banners, consent flows, privacy notices, and opt-out mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with global privacy frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, ePrivacy Directive, and emerging digital regulation.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) and user preference management tools across digital properties.
- Partner with regional legal teams, data governance, and engineering stakeholders to embed privacy-by-design principles into marketing and e-commerce initiatives.
- Monitor regulatory developments, enforcement trends, and industry standards impacting digital marketing and advertising technologies.
- Deliver privacy training and create clear, practical guidance and best practices for marketing, product, and digital teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping teams balance innovation, customer experience, and privacy compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified lawyer (JD or equivalent) with active licence to practise law in relevant jurisdictions.
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience with a strong focus on privacy and data protection.
- Proven experience working with digital marketing, ad tech, e-commerce, or technology-driven businesses (in-house or law firm experience welcome).
- Strong understanding of global privacy laws and how they apply to online behavioural advertising and customer data ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with ad tech environments, including cookies, pixels, DMPs, CDPs, identity resolution, and real-time bidding ecosystems.
- Familiarity with privacy technologies such as Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) and user preference management tools.
- Ability to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across technical and business teams.
