Description and Requirements

  • BPO vendor strategy set-up & operation performance management
    • Establish and execute the strategy of business process outsourcing (BPO) to effectively support business operation, and management decision making
    • Establish and execute governance and management system to monitor and motivate BPO vendor’s performance
    • Establish and manage outsourcing performance metrics (SLA & KPI) and report on performance against outsourcing plans
    • Lead vendor governance forums/committees to drive performance and guide vendor with Lenovo direction
    • Serve as escalation point for vendor issue investigation, and solution development to ensure overall vendor performance and service quality meeting Lenovo expectations
    • Establish and implement service level & penalty management mechanism
  • Process Transformation management
    • Align with and compile Lenovo Transformation direction, and develop governance and management system to motivate BPO vendor to achieve Transformation goals
    • Measure vendor performance to achieve Transformation goals for process standardization, automation, digitalization and financial returns etc.
  • BPO contract management and spending control
    • Collaborate with functional stakeholders, negotiate final scopes of work and any applicable change orders, including pricing, payment schedules, and key deliverables
    • Develop business case for investment and divestment for scope and process change
    • Manage the spending within budget and prioritize the budget towards outcome driven initiatives

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and strong domain knowledge in one of the following areas - Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Contract Fulfillment
  • 15+ years of experience in BPO management, with leadership experience in global company and rapidly change industry

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong Finance and Accounting experience is a plus, e.g. the ability to interpret and draw conclusions from financial data
  • Project / program management qualifications or exposures (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum etc.)
  • Excellent communications and relationship management skills with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong understanding in contract and vendor management
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate and work with different internal functional teams
  • Proven experience in strategic planning including development of business case and management decision making support
  • Proven experience in BPO vendor management with multiple global delivery centers
  • Proven experience in BPO vender management related risk assessment & control
  • Proven experience in leading process transformation through standardization and digitalization
  • Proven experience in utilizing technologies, systems or tools for process Transformation
  • Proven experience in business analytics to provide business insights and outcome-based actions
  • Be able to collaborate and manage the communication with stakeholders around the global time zone
