Description and Requirements

Lenovo’s Solutions & Services Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Product Specialist to drive the strategy, development, and delivery of innovative sports technology solutions. In this role, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams to turn data-driven insights into scalable, high-impact products for elite sports organizations worldwide. You will play a key role in shaping product direction, ensuring seamless execution, and supporting successful go-to-market delivery. You will report to our Senior Product Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the product vision and roadmap for the sports technology portfolio
  • Identify market opportunities through data insights, competitor analysis, and direct customer input
  • Own the full product lifecycle from discovery and business case to launch and continuous optimization
  • Lead and align cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
  • Prioritize product initiatives by balancing business goals, technical feasibility, and user needs
  • Manage the product backlog and ensure focused, value-driven sprint execution
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external technology partners
  • Shape clear product requirements while ensuring compliance with security, GDPR, and industry regulations
 

Qualification & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management within tech-driven environments (AI/ML, IoT, or data platforms preferred)
  • Ability to translate business goals into clear product roadmaps and deliver results in fast-paced, matrix organizations
  • Strong collaboration with engineering teams on architecture, APIs, and data-centric product development
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for both technical and senior stakeholders
  • Data-driven mindset, using customer insights and market trends to guide decisions and prioritization
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Business + Technology, or a related field
  • Experience in the sports industry or working with clubs, federations, or event organizers is a strong advantage
  • Exposure to global product environments and cloud-based, scalable solutions supporting large user bases is a plus
