We’re looking for a technical Program Manager within the Lenovo Information Security Group at Lenovo. In this role you will work directly with various technical teams responsible for building secure, robust and scalable technical solutions.

You’ll be part of a highly skilled and dynamic cyber security team that is involved in all phases of the technical lifecycle. In this role you will be working with both local and globally distributed teams and will be responsible for overall program management of key cyber security initiatives.  Your capabilities as a program manager will be the key to our continued success.    

As the program manager, you will take a leadership role to ensure programs have an effective plan, appropriate goals, accurate status and deliver as promised.

The ideal candidate does not need to be a security expert, but experience leading global technology programs is required. Role

• Lead and manage critical cyber security initiatives.
• Organize, coordinate and lead global teams.
• Create roadmaps, plans and business cases for key initiatives.
• Co create executive updates and project status updates
• Project, manage and track program costs
• Coordinate various security assessment and process activities.
• Domestic and international travel may be required (5%) for technical meetings, workshops and on-site collaboration activities.
• Bring a passion to learn and stay on top of cyber security threats and trends.
• Bring discipline and dedication to ensure programs are well managed and meet goals.

Position Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related software engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in technology program delivery
• 3+ years of managing global technology programs
• 2+ years of hands-on technical leadership in some form
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional(CISSP)
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Familiarity with cyber security and information security principles.
• Experience leading cyber security related programs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in several technology areas.
