Description and Requirements

This role is primarily an internal facing role (with some external vendor interaction), locally in Malaysia, supporting the ANZ (Australia New Zealand) office and its interactions with Beijing and India.

The role is responsible for the delivery of work, billing across multiple projects/services to achieve the objectives on time, within scope, and on budget. They may also be responsible for coordinating multiple activities dedicated to a common project/service or a small number of large/highly complex deliverables.

Role Responsibilities

•          Daily activities include the delivery of key services to the teams in ANZ.

•          Own and drive activity, including collaborating, coordinating across the ANZ business including changes that affect scope, schedule, and resources.

•          Act as conduit across ANZ and back-end services in China and India. 

•          A moderate level of engagement will be expected to support the ANZ team during ANZ operating hours with extension into China and India time.

•          Perform required refresher training for alignment to defined processed

•          Conduct and communicate with regular cadence meetings to ensure engagement, expectations accurately set & managed, and key stakeholders receive adequate communications as required.

•          Extension of responsibility as a subject matter expert specializing in a particular PMO or SMO function, such as project management, invoice management, report facilitation, process documentation and/or delivery management of services.

•          Extension of responsibilities to include managing ANZ projects with minimal client interactions.

Required Attributes 

•         Manage and multi-task activities and execution to completion within SLA.

•         Pro-active with the ability to prioritise and follow through to completion.

•         Work on abstract and complex problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables. 

•         Anticipate operational, project, and implementation issues and develops preventative measures. 

Desirable Experience

•          5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience within an operational function supporting a different Geo.

•          Experience with the setup and documentation of operational processes and procedures.

•         Experience as a trainer in preparation and dissemination of operational processes and procedures.

•          Experience working within the framework of standard project management methodology processes, tools, and documentation e.g. PMP, Six Sigma.


•     Bachelor degree or higher

•     Fluent in English and Mandarin

•     Proficient user in MS Excel

•     Project Management certifications (PMP, Six Sigma)

•     MS Visio (desirable)

•     Training certification (desirable)
