Now we aspire to take this business to the next level both by driving pour existing, hardware focused offerings but also by expanding our professional services footprint and providing end-to-end solutions to solve our clients’ business challenges. Having these priorities in mind we are looking for exceptional candidates into the role of Solution & Services Sales Executive to drive sales in the south of Germany & Austria.


As Solution & Services Sales Executive you will be responsible for driving IDG Solutions & Services in our Enterprise and Public Sector segment, inclusive of our newly created Strategic Accounts segment. 

The Solution & Services Sales Executive:

  • Drives territory and account planning with the core sales teams deriving strategies to increase the services penetration
  • Qualifies, Develops and closes services opportunities together with the extended Lenovo teams or on their own
  • Focuses on larger deals for both close to the box as well as professional services solutions
  • Establishes a professional working relationship (up to the executive level) with clients and develops a core understanding of the unique business needs.
  • Engages with partners effectively to jointly develop solutions fitting to the customer’s needs
  • Builds growth opportunities using the account planning process; actively manages planning process through scheduled reviews and updates.
  • Is responsible for achieving/managing quarterly, half yearly or yearly revenue quotas.
  • Acts as an interface for local Sales teams, Business Partners and Key Stakeholders

The role reports into the EMEA Sales Leader for Solutions & Services into Enterprise, Public Sector and Global accounts but cooperates very closely with the local sales teams.


Desired experience:

  • 5+ years of experience of selling client related services to Large Enterprises and / or the Public sector
  • Effective territory/account management: planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and executive communication, needs analysis, value engineering, services/partner engagement, opportunity management, pipeline management
  • Experience and expertise selling to senior level business decision makers up to C-Level contacts;
  • The position requires the ability to articulate and present the business value of Lenovo's Services & solutions and have a firm understanding of industry strategies and products;
  • Experience leading large deals especially also complex E2E client solutions
  • Knowledge of market landscape, competitive and channel partners´ solutions and capabilities
  • Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.
  • Fluent English and German is a requirement
