Description and Requirements

Custom Services solution architect responsible for supporting services sales with opportunity pipeline creation and progression encompassing:

  • Sales opportunity value selling and qualification assistance.
  • Articulate and discuss Lenovo services and solutions, best practices, use cases and industry trends in an advisory capacity during solutioning and presales engagements.
  • Cultivate strong, trusted and meaningful relationships with the extended Lenovo team (account sellers, services sales, service delivery), external customers and strategic partners 
  • Deliver customer workshops and related current state assessment engagements.
  • Gather customer service requirements and assess current state service issues and impacts.
  • Provide thought leadership and innovative service outcomes for our customers.
  • Responsible for service solution design encompassing related deliverables such as:
    • Customer service strategy road maps.
    • Integration of and migration from existing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to the proposed solution.
    • Service process flows design and documentation.
    • Service delivery risk assessments.
    • Solution cost modelling.
    • Statement of works and service contract drafting.
  • Engage and negotiate with Lenovo product and service delivery teams for service design support.
  • Engage and negotiate with service partners and other related service or software vendors for service design support.
  • Engage Lenovo business teams (such as finance and legal) for solution deliverable support.
  • Obtain solution design finalisation approvals & related solution deliverables such as service part numbers.
  • Perform Sales support related to proposal submission and services presentations.
  • Services & Solutions value presentation and Proof of Concept facilitation.
  • Contribute to service sales pipeline generation activities such as webinars, industry events, group workshops and other customer-related events.
  • Contribute to sales and marketing collateral such as service descriptions, service presentations, video and print media.
  • Contribute to Lenovo business improvement activities within a continual service improvement culture regarding the Lenovo business process and supporting content related to service sales and delivery.
