Description and Requirements

The Role:

This is an early career sales hunter role designed for individuals with 0–2 years of experience in technology sales. We are not looking for order-takers; we are looking for future sales leaders. You will be on the front lines, identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and learning how to sell complex IT solutions to commercial, healthcare, education and FSI clients. If you are eager to learn, hungry to earn, and want to build a career in a fast-paced environment, this is your starting point.

You will:

  • Hunt for New Business: Proactively identify, prospect, and generate new sales opportunities within the commercial, healthcare, education and FSI sectors through cold calling, networking, and social selling.
  • Support the Sales Cycle: Assist senior Sales Managers in qualifying leads, responding to tenders (RFPs/RFQs), and preparing sales presentations and proposals.
  • Learn the Tech: Develop a foundational understanding of LPS’s core offerings (AI, Cloud, Data Practice, System Integration) to articulate value propositions to potential clients.
  • Build Relationships: Shadow senior team members in client meetings to learn how to build strategic relationships with technical and business leaders.
  • Drive Revenue: Work towards individual sales targets and KPIs (meetings booked, pipeline generated, deals closed) to contribute to the team’s revenue goals.
  • Coordinate Internally: Collaborate with the Technology Solution Group and bid teams to ensure accurate submission of proposals and seamless handover of won deals.

You bring:

  • Education: University degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or client-facing role (internships included). Experience in technology, IT services, or consulting is a plus, but a strong sales aptitude is essential.
  • The "Hunter" Mindset: You are self-motivated, resilient, and competitive. You are not afraid of rejection and view “No” as the first step toward “Yes.”
  • Drive: You are eager to learn (absorbing technical and sales knowledge) and hungry to earn (motivated by upside potential and commission structures).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) to effectively engage local clients.
  • Business Acumen: A natural ability to influence and negotiate. You are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple leads simultaneously.
