About the Role

Spazio Lenovo, located in the heart of Milan fashion district, is the first Lenovo flagship store worldwide, outside of China. It was opened in September 2020 with the aim of creating not just a traditional retail store, but a place where to meet consumers and customers, get them to breath innovation and enjoy the full experience of the Lenovo and Motorola (a Lenovo Company) products and solutions ecosystem.

As Spazio Lenovo is now evolving towards becoming a main point of reference of its kind in Milan, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced person responsible for managing it end-to-end, from creating store awareness to driving traffic and sales, to setting-up and managing an ever-evolving calendar of events that make the Lenovo brand a lively and exciting brand in the city.

Given its relevance the role reports directly into the EMEA Chief Marketing Officer.

What will you do?

  • Be the Lenovo go-to person, in charge of the store in all its aspects
  • Fully accountable for managing the store budget and PNL
  • Oversee and evolve the store strategy to deliver the company defined KPIs
  • Develop ways to grow store awareness and drive traffic, leveraging on innovative and smart marketing activities, digital and traditional media, PR, social media, events and any other modern traffic generation tactics
  • Liaise with the company counterparts to build and run both Lenovo and Motorola promotions, making sure that they are well executed and merchandised
  • Spend most of the time in the store, interacting with both the store manager and other in-store stakeholders (such as the Dove restaurant inside the store), keeping the crew motivated and aligned to the roadmap of activities
  • Manage and grow the Spazio Lenovo brand
  • Acts as a Lenovo Brand Ambassador, making sure that every detail in the store is in order to guarantee the best possible Customer Experience and that brand standard and tone of voice are met
  • Ensure that the website is well managed and is further evolved to enable a truly omnichannel purchasing experience for Spazio Lenovo customers
  • Works closely with Lenovo and Motorola Marketing and Comms teams
  • Manage all Lenovo key stakeholders at different level and keeps senior management up to date
  • Liaise with Lenovo partners such as Intel, Microsoft, Google to guarantee strategic alignment
  • Ensure standards of Quality, Customer Services & Health & Safety are me

Your Profile

  • A minimum 10 years experience with strong track record in the retail space, you have either been working for a well-known brand in retail marketing roles or you have been in similar end-to-end retail management jobs
  • A creative mindset, you have built drive-to-store initiatives and campaigns and have the practical experience and intuition to understand what could and could not work
  • Show a strategic mindset and have experience in building medium / long-term strategic plans
  • Have run high-profile events from the ground-up, involving a multitude of parties and stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of the media /advertising channels, as well as social media
  • Emphatic and able to motivate teams even in difficult situations
  • Excellent stakeholders management skills, with an ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels.
  • A proactive, independent, fast moving person, with an attitude of anticipating problems and driving them to resolution
  • a self-starter, able to surf across a complex organization and set-up to get things done, breaking barriers when needed
  • demonstrate an entrepreneurial-like mindset and can-do attitude, with a very high level of energy, keen on making mistakes but in correcting them quickly to find the best way forward
  • perfect English both written and spoken an absolute must. A second fluent language a strong plus
