Description and Requirements


Lenovo is seeking a highly experienced and business-oriented Senior Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support to its France operations while leading competition law compliance efforts across Europe. This is a full-time, Paris-based role (Rueil-Malmaison) within the EMEA Legal team, offering a hybrid work model and significant international exposure. The role is suited to a senior legal professional who combines strong commercial judgment with the ability to operate independently in a complex, fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal support to Lenovo’s France business across sales, services, and operational activities
  • Advise on employment law, litigation, regulatory compliance, consumer law, and marketing practices
  • Partner closely with senior leadership in France to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
  • Deliver practical, risk-balanced legal advice aligned with commercial objectives
  • Lead ethics and compliance activities locally, including guidance on internal policies and business conduct
  • Act as regional subject matter expert for competition law across Europe, supporting EU compliance programs
  • Design and deliver training on competition law, compliance, and regulatory requirements across EMEA
  • Support regulatory inquiries, investigations, and engagement with authorities across relevant jurisdictions

 

Position Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer in France with a recognized legal degree and bar admission
  • Around 10–12 years of relevant legal experience, combining law firm and in-house roles
  • Strong expertise in commercial, regulatory, employment, and/or competition (antitrust) law
  • Experience in technology, consumer goods, or similarly regulated industries is advantageous
  • Fluent French and English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement with senior leadership
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage complex, multi-jurisdictional legal matters
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with strong business acumen and adaptability
