About Our Team 

This team is comprised of digital learning professionals with various backgrounds and experience to make up a passionate, brain trust looking to push the boundaries of learning using technology for our sellers and Business Partners around the world. 

We are a highly collaborative and passionate group that loves people and what we do. What You’ll Do As the Sr. Curriculum Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the Program Manager to understand program needs, dive into learner needs, and develop effective instructional strategies to support our sales programs globally. 

Your main responsibilities will be focused on executing those strategies with a core team of developers by providing expert design guidance and support on the creation of objectives, sequencing of instruction, use of assessments tied to objectives, and design of course materials. 

Job Responsibilities:

Leads and owns the process to continuously assesses and addresses the needs of students to help improve the effectiveness of instruction 

Leads the front-end of the development process for custom work to devise effective objectives based on our performance goals and program needs and then works with the core development team to see those through to execution

Participates in stakeholder meetings to dive deeper in training requirements as needed, present curriculum solution plans, and/or deliver results 

Develops curriculum plans in accordance with needs analysis findings and stakeholder requirements

Coaches developers through the process of design and development to ensure effective instructional strategies are being used to meet the objectives and performance goals that have been set for all areas of learning

Leads creation and maintenance of a set of ID standards to be used by the team and reviews for quality assurance and adherence to those standards Identifies areas for improvement as well as new and emerging learning technologies and methods for the team to explore

Owns and leads the process for evaluating our work and identifying potential areas of improvement by incorporating that into the development cycle 

Participates in post-mortems on large scale project executions along with applicable parties with the evaluation of course effectiveness and bring that back to the development team for areas of improvement Continuously validating what we are doing against external parties (quality, innovation) 

Builds learner usability base and coordinate learner usability studies for new approaches to learning delivery method Other projects as assigned

Position Requirements: 

Basic Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field, or commensurate relevant experience 

5+ years experience as an Instructional Designer creating digital learning and 1-3 years leading creation of curriculum 

Preferred Experience

Deep knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, assessments, and rapid development / high-quality course production S

Strong writing and communication skills; ability to write for various audiences and in various styles

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex, strategic ideas or concepts in a business and user-friendly manner 

Experience working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess learning requirements 

Proficient in creating detailed curriculum plans, and writing performance and learning objectives Knowledge of Instructional Design best practices 

Demonstrated understanding and experience with instructional design methodologies

Deep knowledge and proven history of successfully applying adult learning theory in a fast-paced environment Proven ability coaching and mentoring team members 

Experience evaluating learning content in a wide range of modalities in accordance with corporate branding, instructional design principles, and adherence to established learning objectives 

Record of designing, developing, and implementing effective learning programs Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties 

Ability to work independently and be self-directed Ability to manage multiple projects to meet target dates for implementation 

Ability to quickly and effectively shift gears to meet changing business requirements Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure 

Ability to work effectively on virtual teams and accommodate time zone differences Ability to prioritize and organize effectively 

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management 

Experience working within sales training teams 

Experience creating training programs for global audiences Global technology industry experience
