Description and Requirements

Lenovo is developing IT systems and business processes to enable exciting new business models and offerings. The project team is hiring a number of key positions to help design, deliver, and deploy these capabilities and deliver project success.

Role: 

The Senior Business Analyst will work with business stakeholders and IT leaders to define stories and epics that advance the project to completion. They will secure business approval of the stories and epics and ensure that they are sufficiently defined for the IT teams to develop to. The Senior Business Analyst will work with the end-to-end Business Transformation Leader to prioritize the backlog in alignment with business needs and priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business requirements research in response to program priorities in coordination with end-to-end Business Transformation Leader and other team members
  • Research and guide business stakeholders and IT product owners to industry best practice solutions of novel problems
  • Reduce business input to clear and well-structured requirements documentation
  • Align with organizational change management team to ensure supporting OCM plans and actions are in place
  • Work with end-to-end team and product owners to ensure requirements are translated into compliant software deliverables

Required Skills:

  • At least 7 years of working experience working as a Business Analyst or  similar function
  • Ability to lead business in defining novel business processes and IT solutions
  • Ability to turn unstructured business input from multiple sources into high quality requirements documentation for both:
    • Executive and business presentation
    • Input to agile development process
  • Model structured development and project management practices
  • Quickly understand complex business and systems environment
  • Influence multiple stakeholders from business and IT disciplines to achieve alignment
  • SAP or ERP systems Knowledge
