Description and Requirements

The NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer is responsible for coordinating the introduction of new products and processes into the manufacturing plant. This role ensures, in collaboration with all engineering functions, that all necessary documentation, processes, tooling, facilities, and infrastructure are prepared and ready for mass production. The engineer works closely with cross-functional teams—including quality, design, maintenance, testing, manufacturing, and planning—to meet product launch deadlines. Additionally, the NPI Engineer acts as the primary liaison between the manufacturing site and global teams to facilitate information exchange and effective follow-up on NPI activities. The role also includes setting and monitoring project schedules, tracking key deliverables, and documenting incidents to guarantee their proper resolution.
