What You’ll Do:

Lenovo is seeking an experienced ISG Software and Solutions Segment Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for acting as the Voice of the Customer bridging the gap between product management and marketing communications

This is an exciting and high growth area for Lenovo; only experienced individuals should apply; you will be working closely with internal core teams and your SME experience needs to be shared for the proper outcome

The individual must have insights into IT software infrastructure and understand how a global mid – enterprise leverages solutions your team designs and executes. Decisions must be based on objective decisions, goals pre-set and an honest reflection on results

The individual should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about go-to-market, solution collaboration, be able to articulate and convey compelling product value propositions and demonstrated success

Responsibilities

  • Develop your own brand while delivering a consistent messaging that aligns with the ISG and One Lenovo messaging
  • Define and develop appropriate content, collateral, and programs to grow awareness, educate the market and drive successful end-user engagements.
  • Develop positioning, content, and messaging that resonates with different customer personas and communicates the value of Software & Solutions portfolio
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, Alliance, product management, sales, customer success, demand generation, and channel partners to develop Go-to-Market strategies and deliver successful product launches
  • Work closely with Corporate Marketing and Geo Marketing on execution
  • Develop messaging to successfully handle objections in the sales process
  • Develop a relationship with geographies and segments to ensure direction matches what success is for GTM
  • Collaborate with sales to understand the product and solutions sales cycle, motion, and barriers to continuously improve and accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Develop and deliver sales enablement content and tools to field and partners
  • Deliver engaging customer interactions with case studies, interactive events, technical assets, and references that drive awareness and help accelerate sales
  • Be a spokesperson for Lenovo and your responsibilities, publish on social media, speak at industry forums, and develop a brand
  • Support customer visits, industry, and partner events
  • Evangelize Lenovo Software & Solutions

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years product marketing (B2B) experience for technical products
  • MS CSP / Hybrid Cloud experience

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to operate independently without requiring many directions
  • Proficiency in English required
  • Strong technical acumen and passion for learning new technologies
  • Self-starter who can manage ambiguity, chart a clear course, and make tough decisions
  • Ability to act quickly on multiple challenges
