Advanced Services (Direct & Channel) – AI & Robotics Focus

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Services & Solutions Sales Business Development Manager to drive Advanced Services and Software growth across Direct and Channel sales.
This role focuses on AI‑led solution outcomes, Robotics integration, and Advanced Digital Workplace Services, supporting strategic accounts across the ANZ region.
You will work closely with field sales, channel partners, marketing, and solution teams to deliver a unified “One Lenovo” selling model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Advanced Services and Software sales quotas and KPIs across Direct and Channel for assigned strategic accounts and territory (Government, Education, Large Enterprise, and Mid‑Market).
  • Drive ANZ regional coverage, working as a services overlay to the Field Sales organization.
  • Build and execute proactive sales plans to meet short‑ and long‑term commercial goals.
  • Identify customer business challenges and opportunities, positioning AI solution outcomes, Robotics integration, and Advanced Digital Workplace Services.
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Grow new and existing business in collaboration with internal sales teams and Channel partners.
  • Work with Marketing, Segment, Sales, and DaaS teams to drive solutions‑led growth across the territory.
  • Support and manage SSG channel programs, aligned with WW and AP initiatives.
  • Lead commercial sales conversations and customer presentations, often face‑to‑face, together with hardware specialists to deliver a One Lenovo experience.
  • Maintain a strong 6–12 month sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and updates in Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Engage with senior customer decision‑makers to progress, close, and expand opportunities.
  • Communicate Lenovo’s technology roadmap and value proposition internally and externally as a solutions evangelist.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, SSDS specialists, and partners to recommend service and solution configurations.
  • Support account planning, RFI, and RFQ responses with core account teams.

Skills & Experience

Must‑Have
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong Services Sales background across Government, Education, Large Enterprise, or Mid‑Market segments.
  • Proven experience in solution‑based selling, including AI‑driven outcomes, Digital Workplace Services, data or deployment services.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the ANZ Channel ecosystem (Tier‑1 partner experience preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex sales engagements across industries and territories.
  • Experience working in matrix‑managed environments and influencing cross‑functional teams.
Good‑to‑Have
  • Experience with Robotics solutions or integrations.
  • Exposure to Microsoft M365 and D365 solutions.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage customers at executive level.
