Description and Requirements

We are looking for a new colleague with technical skills who doesn't mind a portion of sales in daily work. This position can be home office based, with exposure to customers' or partners' meetings. 

You will directly report to Country General Manager and will have interlock with the Markets business, Market Sales Operations as well as EMEA and supporting functions.


You will be mainly responsible for:

Gathering information to develop an accurate understanding of customer and partner technology infrastructure. Interpreting their technical requirements

Defining and identifying IT- Datacenter projects by acting as a trusted advisor

Building and maintaining customer relationships to Technical Director level and above 

Keeping customers and partners up to date with new technologies and innovations

Haveing the ability to build technical solutions working with the wider specialist product and technical community, the sales teams and business partners as appropriate, to support winning the business 

Leading and/ or providing a technical input to tenders/ RFIs/ RFPs 

Solution design, HyperConverged solutions and Lenovo SDI solutions adaptation to new customers' requirements


What will you bring  - position requirements:

5+ years of customer facing technical sales experience in the datacenter business with focus on storage, server, networking and Software Defined Infrastructure

Right balance of deep technical know-how and sales attitude

Entrepreneurial approach that is imaginative, smart, passionate and approachable

Ablility to create and present  Lenovo  technical solutions to senior level clients within the customer and clearly articulate the technical value proposition to the customer

Fluency in German and English (French or Italian are a huge advantage)
