THE ROLE:
This role is a member of the Product Operations/Technical Sales team on the North American Go to Market Organization. The Technical Account Manager (TAM) will support customers such as (Verizon, ATT, MVNO). This is an important customer-facing role that has direct interface with customer technical teams.



 Key responsibilities include: 
· Taking wireless devices through full certification process while delivering and meeting all milestones on time. 
· Submitting devices and device test data to carrier labs and 3rd party test houses for technical certification of devices. 
· TAMs need to have a deep understanding of carrier certification requirements both 4G and 5G and provide an interface between Motorola Product Development, Global Test and Software Integration teams. 
· Provides first level analysis and troubleshooting of device issues and work with carrier labs, testers, and test houses to validate software fixes, and new software features to meet carrier needs.
 · TAM needs to have strong understanding and experience on wireless communication specially LTE and 5G.

 

Position Requirements: 

Basic Qualifications: 
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering 
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Mobile communication and wireless services 
· Strong communication and collaboration skills 


Preferred Qualifications: 
· Field Test engineering in the Mobile or Telecommunications Industry.
· Previous Experience as a TAM or wireless carriers test coordinator is highly desirable. 
· Experience in a customer-facing role · Demonstrated negotiation skills
