Test Engineer will have the responsibility to support Motorola production and manufacturing and interface with local EMS.

Scope of responsibilities:

  • Support New Products Introduction (NPI).
  • Act as interface between Motorola and local EMS: define key points to improve test efficiency and follow-up actions with responsible persons of EMS to make sure they are implemented and closed.
  • Manage Test Change notifications & Follow up on implementation
  • Monitor Test Capacity and actions needed based on Motorola production demand
  • Understand and transfer requirements of hardware and software for test solutions / Current products and NPIs
  • Manage test implementation projects
  • Optimize test time and test equipment utilization with EMS responsible
  • Monitor and improve quality
  • Drive Cost reduction Initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cellular phone industry or related electronic environment
  • Advanced English skills (Written and spoken)
  • Test Engineer Experience
  • Strong Analytical Skills and problem diagnose & solving abilities
  • Proactive team player, with demonstrated ability to work in a changing and dynamic environment
  • Capability to develop creative solutions to solve local issues with the available resources
  • Current Job location: Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego
  • Willing to Travel if needed
