Description and Requirements

The Product Manager will be fully engaged to support our Lenovo Services team to help accelerate our Lenovo Branded SSD (Solid State Drive) financial growth of Lenovo Parts Sales & Billables offerings. 


1. This candidate will Design SSD (also Memory) Services upsell strategies and the go to markets strategies for ROW and will closely work with product teams, GEOs and marketing to increase our Services sales opportunities with a goal of maximizing revenue and profit for the organization. 

2. This person will be responsible for SSD/Memory Product development with Supplier/s and fulfillment management and understanding changes in the market and to ensure a continued growth trajectory.  

3. Joining this team, the candidate must be flexible with working across multiple time zones and provide clear and precise program information to resellers/GEOs and specific skills they need to help achieve quarterly and annual financial goals.  

4. Strategic planning is a key part of this role. This includes but not limited to new portfolio recommendations, pricing strategies, programs and education/training tactics.    


Day to Day Responsibilities include: 

1. Organizing and developing programs and activities in accordance with the strategic mission and goals of the organization. 

2. Creating and managing long-term goals. 

3. Developing a budget and operating plan for the program. 

4. Working on strategy with the marketing team Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement. 

5. Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and GEO performance. 

6. Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved. 

7. Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services. 

8. Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle. 

9. Analyzing program risks. 


Position Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years + product marketing or product management experience in business or related field. 

2. Bachelor’s Degree preferred Exceptional creative and strategic thinking, customer orientation, open & effective communication. 

3. External partner relationship experience preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Self-driven with strong time management skills Excellent MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and analytical skills Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to lead complex projects Strong presentation and communication skills Proven experience in program management. 

4. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. 

5. Understanding of Project Management. Experience managing a global matrix organization Dynamic work hours to adapt to global meetings Design SSD/Memory Services upsell strategies and go to markets in ROW SSD/Memory Product development with Supplier/s and fulfillment management.   

6. SSD/Memory distributors, channel partners management.
