Description and Requirements

Overview of Position

As WW Product Marketing Manager – Workstation Graphics and Visuals you will engage with a cross-disciplinary organization to manage and position Graphics and Visuals components within the Workstation Portfolio. Specific responsibilities will include defining market requirements, product/portfolio strategy and positioning, competitive analysis, sales engagement and communication, and demand generation.  Looking for an energetic candidate who is comfortable presenting to external customers as well as internal executives and is passionate about creating products that delight users. 

Responsibilities include:

-Work with customers (internal and external) to help bring new requirements into the business

-Work with Desktop and Mobile Segment leads to help define the graphics strategy in next generation products

-Work with geographies on volume planning and forecasting

-Interacting and negotiating with all local teams in geographies selling ThinkStation products

-Provide graphics education to geography product and sales teams

-Interacting with cross functional areas to bring product to market

-Market message creation, product positioning, sales enablement pricing and competitive analysis by geography

-Product life cycle management (cradle to grave) including launch planning and execution for a global market.

-Develop sales tools and assist in geography marketing and promotional programs

Knowledge and Experience Preferred: 

  • Bachelors Degree, MBA a plus
  • Minimum 5 years product management experience for technical products. IT hardware, Graphics, or Visuals marketing experience highly preferred.
  • Previous responsibility for a product/product segment from inception to end of life; includes business case development, gathering market requirements, launch planning, execution, and product performance tracking at all levels.
  • 3+ years product marketing experience in a global capacity highly preferred.
  • Strong technical acumen and passion for learning new technologies
  • Self-starter who can manage ambiguity, chart a clear course and make tough decisions
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.  English required.
  • Ability to respond quickly to multiple issues

Skill Requirements

  • Min. 5 years experience in marketing management and/or sales enablement
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Strong virtual team and extensive cross-group coordination/collaboration and very strong communication and partnership skills.
  • Demonstrated successful 4P planning experience
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, customer orientation, open & effective communication.
  • Strong Excel and Power Point skills required
  • External partner relationship experience
  • Strong technical acumen and passion for learning new technologies
  • Self-starter who can manage ambiguity, chart a clear course and make tough decisions
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.  English required.
  • Ability to respond quickly to multiple issues
