Description and Requirements

IDG (Intelligent Device Group) - The IDG at Lenovo houses our PC and Smart Devices. We combine investment in high-growth segments (workstations, gaming, visuals, thin and light devices) with new innovation in the smart device categories and continue to explore new opportunities across AR/VR, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), security and as-a-service solutions.  Lenovo Workstations provide powerful solutions to drive productivity, innovation, and design excellence in key vertical segments such as Engineering/Architecture/CAD, Media & Entertainment, Science, Medical, Energy, and Finance. 

To maintain our leadership and compete in this aggressive marketplace, we are looking to enhance our team with additional talent. We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee the logistic and schedule-related activities for a variety of projects within the Customer Solutions team. 

What You'll Do: 

  • Drive development and operation interface to the team. 
  • Manage technical task tracking and lab work. 
  • Coordinate deliverables from multiple teams in parallel projects. 
  • Manage organization budget and PO's for the organization.
  • Track and report on the status of special projects.  

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree 
  • 6+ years of project management experience
  • Past experience with managing or preparing budgets
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team 
  • Skilled at using Microsoft Office applications (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). 
  • As a global company, Lenovo has relationships with suppliers and teams throughout the world. This position may require morning/evening meetings which occur outside normal working hours, and candidates must be agreeable to a flexible work schedule. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or computer science
  • PMP certification 
  • Knowledge/background in the PC/Workstation industry, including hardware & software 
  • Jira experience 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
