Description and Requirements

Come help us deliver our ambitious transformative growth strategy for Lenovo’s eCommerce. Lenovo has embarked on a journey to rapidly grow it’s eCommerce business in EMEA, and your role will be pivotal in delivering our future e-commerce go-to-market strategy. Using your initiative, you will work collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment, to lead an established and highly talented team with 15+ in-house performance marketing leaders and specialists, digital analytics experts, budgeting and planning expertise, segment marketing, and CRM development specialists.

You will lead, inspire, and grow your existing team, while planning, developing, implementing and managing Lenovo’s digital and customer engagement marketing strategies for our direct-to-customer operation (Consumer and Small Business segments).

You will be a key interface between the EMEA eCommerce Director, the eCommerce Strategy & Planning Director, Sr. Online Sales managers responsible for market-level performance, local Geo Marketing teams and worldwide eCommerce HQ teams.

This is a key role on the EMEA eCommerce leadership team with responsibility to:

  • Develop and implement the overall “brand” and digital marketing strategy to support our growth aspiration, and implement a robust ongoing planning process
  • Own a significant 8-digit marketing budget p.a., ensuring full alignment with strategic P&L goals.
  • Ensure full alignment across regional and eCommerce teams in the strategic and cycle planning process, and final execution of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Consistently identify revenue opportunities within our established target markets and existing customer databases and managing consistent growth by securing go-to-market / reach opportunities across critical segments (Gaming, Students and Small Businesses.)
  • Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budgets, targets, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, alignment to P&L projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations
  • Help define and execute new tools and processes to improve the measurement of ROI and KPIs
  • For activities that can’t be driven in-house, establish / manage relevant and highly productive agency relationships as required to drive the business forward
  • Organize and lead the marketing team
  • Manage and coach / mentor the rest of the team

What requirements are we expecting from you?

The success of this role depends in many ways on different teams’ full support and collaboration. Candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications and qualities:

  • We want an experienced and results-driven Marketing professional, with expertise in managing a digital marketing and CRM organization
  • 10+ years relevant Marketing experience, with marketing experience for large international companies with $1bn+ in revenue.
  • Demonstrated eCommerce marketing experience at the strategic marketing strategy, and operational level – a change leader
  • Able to identify and develop compelling, high-return marketing investment opportunities – beyond performance marketing
  • Strong track record of communicating complex marketing strategies and tactics succinctly to broader organization and senior executive / c-level.
  • Strong track record of performance analytics and making data-driven decisions to continually optimize and drive pipeline and revenue.
  • Experience leading teams, including managing managers.
  • Proven track record in designing digital mix investment, and establishing processes in a growth environment
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree with analytical/quantitative background / MBA or equivalent preferred
